Dinosaurs & Inspiration

Because I geeked over "Walking with the Dinosaurs" so much, today I took my parents!

Turns out my aunt and uncle and two cousins were sitting right next to us!

This was my dads birthday present.  I knew my parents would love it.  I really wanted us to see it together, since one of the reasons why I love it, is because it takes me back to being a kid.  I have gone to the Museum of Natural History for as long as I can remember with them.  The dinosaur room never looses it's magic.  I have pictures of me sitting in a giant footprint from the time I am around 5 up until just last year. He he.

My dad is not in the best of health, but was feeling pretty good today, thank goodness, since that means he could relax and enjoy getting out and doing something fun.  Everyone loved it, just as I knew they would.  We bought T shirts after and discussed it all the way home.  It raises so many questions.  I want to know everything.  Already, I want to see it again!

So.  What gets you thinking, what inspires you? What are you interested in that maybe nobody would expect you to be? Are you inspired / moved by people? Events? Art?

For me, besides the science I've already talked about, the big ones are words and theatre.  As in great poetry/books, and plays.  Films too.  Especially sweeping, tragic love stories.  Tell me yours!

xoxo Deena

  1. I am a huge tennis fan. Which is why I am still up at 2am watching the Aus Open online!

I'm also really passionate about astronomy, the universe fascinates me.

Also sharks. I have an unhealthy shark fascination, I watch any documentary I can find and my favourite film is Jaws. That's my Dad's fault, he's the same!

I've never even heard of this dinosaurs movie. Probably not out yet in the UK, we are soo behind!

  4. D I N O S A U R S are really great .

    Were really great.

    Are really great.

How can you argue with a Dinasore.
    [Yes, Thats a rhetorical.(no '?' ^)]

My favorite Rhino one is the Dinosaurus Rex.
    He's the best.

Although the DeenaSaurus is a close second.

    ...Sheee's ah Fuhney

Also, too, there's that Dinasore from ToysRUs.
    He's a fancy one, ain't he.

Too, also, is that purple dinosoar: Clifford.
I mean Blarney. Although I've been told that was just a costume.

Oiyh. and let's not forget that sister on Tv's Dinosaurs. Man! was she a fox, she didn't even wear pants! (I wonder if she ever had to wear that suit while she was... ehl, at the end of her cycle, you know, her period, or what is it nowadays her elipsis, no its still period...".")Any way, that suit must've stenk. even despite the waxen dino muff.
Now I have never had a period in my life, not even a comma, nor Semi-comma. I do, by golly, however, have a colon and an asterix. But, as it is and was, I once knew a boy who used to pee blood. And ouugh, was that not fun. not fun for anyone. (I wonder what had caused it? and if whatever it was ever scabbed up on the inside?~~!)

But seriously, I wonder if any of those actors from Dinosaurs ever forgot that they weren't not wearing pants and proceeded to urinate and defecate freely, like real men, and real men~dinos.

Hey,,. Has anyone ever had to peep and poop at the same time? Wow! `cuz that must be a crazy event. that must be wacky. Must be I say, because I wouldn't know. It's never happened to me. Food noodles and swish only ever come one at a time. See with me it is all very rational, all very reasonable. They are always separate procedures, always achieved without anyone's prior notice or permission, In the privacy of my own home, never in public; always in form, on time, and with great clarity. Cleanly measured, metric amounts. all very precise. all very logical. like crockwork. Concision. that's how it is with me, never a mess. A single neat squeeze, and I'm done. effortless. clean and easy. I don't even Know what wiping is. That's how pure and favorable my bowels movements can be, Girls... O, and I never, never once, ever, have released any sort of Fume from myself across this earth, not from either end. I just dont do it. It just doesn't happen. Not with me.

    Sooooooooooooooooo, Deena,
Were you named after Dean Martin???
    or that guy...Donnie Marie??

Ehhhnyway, I just wanted to tell you how much I love Dineassours too, or loved them, that is, until they got extinguished, i mean extinct, i mean extincteded, i mean never to be heard from again, i mean axed-inked, i mean rather until they were aks'd to leave by their Creator.

[(Although birds really are tiny dinos)]

And I believe, that one day, in the future, when we are all seen as equals (with evolved wings of our own) that 'how much' a person loves dinorsores will not be held against them, but rather will be taken as credit in their favor. And I personably feel exuberated about the Bigs. The Big Ones. Those Guys. Them Fellas. Those Dynocites, who paved the way us. And so also too did Gimmy Carter feel exuberated when he officially announced that DinoSARS actually did once exist on the earth, and that they did now only exist in his heart, and that he had to have them removed, so all could see, and be happy. He luv'd `em, luv'd `em That Much.

Hey wait now. How is it, bein' you in Utah, that you are even allowed to be a speakin' about them creatures. Most Utopians would rather see them removed from the picture altogether. [In fact I think that your state has done its part in covering them up] Don't you know you could get in T-rubble and end up a fossil. They'll burn you at the sLake. (thank G-D you're not in Cleveland) No wait. You'll float, on the salt, and they won't think you're a witch, no, wait, they will think you're a witch.

    You Gotta Get Outta There

    You need to Escape

Best of Luck to you. Your's is truly a life worth celebrating. I hope you make it.
